It must be hard to choose with such a diverse field, but VW's are troublesome and pretty ugly. I may not agree with this outcome but respect the work that went into making this choice. I'm also swayed by my personal preference to brand & the type of car I like. I'd never own a GTi so it's hard to get excited about this. I guess VW’s horrible reliability record didn’t figure into the vote.

It must be hard to choose with such a diverse field, but VW’s are troublesome and pretty ugly.

It's just not my preference. My friend worked for a VW dealer as a mechanic, he left a year ago, and said he would not buy a VW, until they bring the quality & reliability up.
